Pennsylvania, ca. 1800, blacksmith made wrought-iron strap hinges.

Large size, probably made for a door or large chest. These hinges are special due to the large heart terminals, and the old painted surfaces. Hinged just below the heart terminals.

Terrific for home décor as wall art or to flank artworks, or for home restoration or period-construction. About 31 inches long, the hearts about 9 ½ wide. From a private Pennsylvania collection.
