The polychrome hand-painted gameboard colorfully designed with impactful color-contrast employing gold, silver, dark orange, light orange, dark blue, light blue, blue-gray, dark green, light green,, gray, black all on a beige ground, all enclosed within an applied picture-frame molding.

Nice surface with minor wear from play. Structurally superb. The reverse in checkers. About 20 ½ inches x 20 5/8. From a fine Southern collection.
